Renowned DPRK movie star Hong Young-hee, an old friend of the Chinese people, has sent her Spring Festival greetings and best wishes from Pyongyang.

Hong Young-hee is known to the Chinese audience for her classic "The Flower girl" some 40 years ago. Hong got the part when she was only 17 and the movie enjoyed great popularity in the DPRK and China. Hong Young-hee has been to China twice and received a warm welcome by her fans.
