A Chinese team has arrived in the Sudanese capital of Khartoum to help rescue the Chinese workers who are missing or being held hostage after an attack on a Chinese company camp in South Kordofan state.
The six-member team is to assist the Chinese embassy and consult with Sudanese authorities on the rescue operation. The head of the team said the Chinese government is greatly concerned about the safety of the Chinese workers and an emergency measure is being taken to secure their rescue.
